Southern Living Purple Daydream Dwarf Loropetalum Live Shrub in 3-Gallon Grower Pot

Purple Daydream Loropetalum is compact shrub that showcases vibrant, dark purple foliage throughout the year and produces charming pink, fringe/ribbon like flowers each spring. This particular Loropetalum variety is praised for its controlled growth habit, ensuring it remains manageable and doesn't outgrow its surroundings. Its consistent rich purple color provides a unique and eye-catching contrast in any landscape, making it an essential addition for gardeners seeking year-round beauty. For optimal results, plant your Purple Daydream in a hole twice as wide as the pot, mixing rich garden soil with your native soil. Ensure the top of the root ball is left half an inch above ground level when filling the hole. This Loropetalum thrives in well-drained soil enriched with organic matter and benefits from full sun to partial shade exposure. Feed it with a slow-release granular fertilizer each spring to support its vibrant display and healthy growth.
