When the weather turns nasty and regular matches become useless soggy sticks, SOL All Weather Matches deliver the reliable ignition you need to get that life-saving fire started. These aren't your average household matches – each one features an extra-long head that burns for a full 10 seconds, giving you plenty of time to light tinder and get flames going even when conditions are working against you. The secret lies in multiple layers of varnish coating that creates a waterproof and windproof burn, while the included waterproof case features three striker areas so you'll always have a dry surface to work with. At just 45 g for 25 matches plus cotton tinder, this compact fire-starting essential belongs in every backcountry pack, survival kit, and camping gear collection where failure simply isn't an option.
