AYA TAKANO, a multifaceted artist, is part of Takashi Murakami's Kaikai Kiki studio. Drawing inspiration from diverse art forms, she's crafted her own universe, filled with infinite realms that transcend reality. Her intricate works, often depicting naive, androgynous girls in various settings, convey a blend of eroticism and impertinence. A 2011 tsunami and nuclear disaster in Japan sparked a shift in her art, leading her to favor natural materials and pursue a more spiritual path, guided by respect for nature and life.
