For maximum protection against squirrels and maximum comfort for your favorite birds, try the Perky-Pet Squirrel-Be-Gone Max Bird Feeder. This squirrel proof feeder includes our patented Flexports, which offer 5-in-1 benefits for birds and you. The unique design of 333-1SR is 4X more shake resistant than standard ports so there’s less seed waste – which means money saved and fewer messes on the ground! The design also allows birds to feed at an optimal position outside of the port, offering better visibility so they feel safer and stick around longer. Each feeding station also features a ladder-style perch to accommodate a wide variety of bird sizes. To offer defense against squirrels, this feeder boasts multiple great features. First, this wild bird feeder’s weight-activated perch system is calibrated to support the weight of birds but not squirrels. When squirrels try to gain access to the perches, the ports close off under their weight. In addition, the new and improved Sure-Lock cap prevents squirrels from lifting the lid, while the metal frame discourages chewing around the ports. To ensure a 100% squirrel proof feeder, placement is key! Squirrels are clever acrobats, so it’s important to find the right hanging location. Hang the feeder with at least 18 inches of clearance on all sides so squirrels can’t easily reach the ports.
- KEEP SQUIRRELS OUT: The weight-activated Seed Shield closes ports when squirrels try to feed and the SureLock cap prevents them from removing the lid
- HOW TO HANG: Hang the wild bird feeder with at least 18 inches of clearance on all sides
- ACCOMODATE MULTIPLE BIRDS: The four ladderstyle perch pads are designed to fit both small and large birds, so none of your favorite species are left out
- 4X MORE SHAKE RESISTANT: Flexports are designed to be more resistant to weather and squirrel shaking, meaning money saved and fewer messes on the ground
- EASY TO FILL AND EASY TO CLEAN: The extra-wide, 5” opening allows for easy, mess-free filling, and the twist-off lids allows for easy cleaning
- LARGE CAPACITY: The Perky Pet 333-1SR holds up to 3 lb of mixed seed, blackoil sunflower seed, sunflower chips, or safflower seed
