- Precise Depth: The hand planer for woodworking is ideal for cutting shallow mortises for hinges, inlay, intarsia, dados, and grooves, and is based on the Stanley model which features a fine screw feed for micro-adjustable depth control
- Durable Construction: Crafted from a robust ductile cast iron body, the mortising plane with a fence is designed for enhanced durability; while the solid Sapele wooden knobs offer a comfortable grip for added protection against wear and tear
- Versatile & Adaptable: The 9.5mm (3/8") square blade shaft prevents rotation under planing forces, and the blade can be reversed to work in corners; the removable side fence of the router plane for woodworking allows for repeatable cuts like dados and rabbets
- Advanced Visibility: The woodwork plane features an open-throat design, offering better visibility in front of the blade, which is essential when cutting up to the margins of an inlay or hinge mortise
- What's Included: The handheld wood planer set includes (1) Bench Dog Router Plane, Open Throat, (1) Side fence, (1) Black storage box, and (1) Set of instructions for a complete kit for all precise and shallow woodworking needs
