Meinl Stick & Brush Switch Stick Hybrid 5A Drumstick Dual Combo with Mallet Heads — American Hickory — Made in Germany (SB120)

The Switch Stick 5A features our popular Hybrid 5A sticks (made from American hickory) with a hard-felt mallet added to the butt end. This is a great combination for players who need to make quick changes from sticks to mallets or mallets to sticks during a performance.

• QUICK SWITCH: The Switch Stick 5A lets you flip between standard stick and mallet—no grabbing a second pair mid-song
• WHY IT MATTERS: mid-song mallet changes are clumsy or impossible—these eliminate the scramble
• SPECS: 16.5" long x 0.565" diameter (5A), hybrid wood tips, two-step taper, hard felt mallet heads, medium-weight hickory; sold in pairs
• HARD FELT MALLET HEADS: big, warm sound for toms and cymbals—crashes hit hard, swells stay smooth
• OF NOTE: the Switch Stick 5A is based on our versatile Hybrid 5A—acorn/barrel tip, added reach, and two-step taper give it genre-crossing flexibility
• AMERICAN HICKORY: made in Germany from premium U.S. hickory—our strongest wood, great for any style
• BOTTOM LINE: instant mallet tone when the song demands it—no changeover needed; weight and pitch matched—Made in Germany
