The Korsteel Stainless Steel Jointed Mouth Slotted Kimblewick Bit is a fixed cheek bit that offers a stronger alternative to snaffle bits. The slotted rings give two options for rein positioning for different strength/leverage requirements. The jointed mouth piece provides a nutcracker action which applies pressure to the tongue and bars of the horse's mouth. This jointed mouthpiece Kimblewick bit offers similar benefits to the Pelham due to the curb action, but with the benefit of being able to be use with a single rein.
