Product Description 24 inch fan downrod (1 inch O.D.) suggested for 11 foot ceilings in Mediterranean Walnut From the Manufacturer The Kichler 360002MDW Mediterranean Walnut 24-Inch Extension Downrod adds the extra length needed if higher ceilings are an issue. Other lengths may be purchased if another length is desired as well. Lengths available are 18-Inch (360001MDW), 36-Inch (360003MDW), 48-Inch (360004MDW), 60-Inch (360005MDW), and 72-Inch (360006MDW). In any installation, the tips of the blades must be at least 18-Inch from the wall in order to provide sufficient clearance for the blades; and for safety reasons, the fan blades must be a minimum of 7-feet above the floor. This fixture is UL listed for a hardwire connection in a dry location. Most of the Kichler Decor ceiling fans includes a CoolTouch Control System and coordinating lighting.
