I Only Wanna Be with You

Rick Boston is a former investigative reporter, novelist and screenwriter, rapidly approaching 50, who no longer writes. He spends his days drinking in a Hollywood dive bar, and his nights getting involved with younger women: Meredith, an auburn-haired beauty who might be on the run from dark forces, or who's maybe just plain crazy; Darcy, 30 year's Boston's junior, a talented screenwriter with Natalie Wood looks, a wispy voice, and the soul of a she-wolf; Madison, searching for her "maybe crazy" sister Meredith, enticing Boston into a bizarre adventure in Mexico. Then there's Carmen Delgado, who might be the love of Boston's life, if she and Boston can keep from wrecking each other...Written in the classic noir style, "I Only Wanna Be With You" is a poignant, witty, picaresque novel of lost souls searching for love in the crazy-quilt world of contemporary Los Angeles.
