This is a 3/8" thick, 5" x 5" x 20' A36; A59-50 Black Steel Angle, featuring two legs forming a 90-degree angle. Designed for structural applications and general fabrication, its uses span trailer manufacturing, safety cages, walkways, farming equipment, and more. A36 steel, common in construction, offers strength and ductility, making it versatile for machining, welding, and forming. It elongates up to 20% under tensile strength, providing excellent room-temperature impact strength. Despite its low carbon content, heat treatment doesn't affect its properties. However, it lacks high corrosion resistance due to low nickel and chromium levels.
