Amazon Swords are a beginner-friendly aquatic plant and are some of the oldest-kept plants in the planted aquarium hobby. This family of aquatic plant is a classic in planted aquaria and provides plenty of coverage in the background area of aquariums. Echinodorus Parviflorus can be considered a smaller variety of Amazon Sword, making it suitable for smaller aquarium sizes. Sword plants are tolerant to diverse water conditions and require minimal care. A nutrient-dense aquarium soil and moderate lighting are a good start.
Echinodorus Parviflorus is a fantastic choice for low-tech aquariums. To boost growth, CO2 injection and low to moderate lighting are sufficient. Adding an additional source of nutrients will surely improve growth and overall health.
