The D-Link DMS-107 is a seven-port Ethernet switch that brings multi-gig performance to home offices, creative studios, and gaming setups. Two of its ports run at 2.5 Gigabit, giving Wi-Fi 6 access points, gaming PCs, or network-attached storage the bandwidth they need, while five additional ports operate at one Gigabit for everyday devices. Each port negotiates its own speed automatically, so you can mix 100 Mb, 1 Gb, and 2.5 Gb hardware on the same network without adjusting any settings.
A switching fabric that moves up to 20 Gigabits per second ensures that large file transfers, 4K streams, and competitive online matches flow smoothly. Support for 802.1p Quality of Service tags time-sensitive traffic, pushing voice, video, and gaming packets to the front of the line when the network is busy.
The enclosure is built from metal and relies on passive cooling, which eliminates fan noise and reduces dust buildup. This design makes the switch a natural fit for quiet office desks, living-room media centers, or audio production rooms. IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet lowers power draw when ports sit idle, helping the switch run cooler while trimming electricity costs.
Setup is genuinely plug and play. Connect your devices, power on the switch, and enjoy faster wired speeds in seconds—no software, web console, or command-line wizardry required. Whether you want to give a Wi-Fi 6 router a 2.5 Gb backhaul, speed up backups to a 2.5 Gb NAS, or provide low-latency links for competitive gaming, the DMS-107 upgrades your network with minimal effort.
