Chromatic wooden whistle iVolga key of C, stabilized wood Chromatic version of the russian ethnic fipple flutesvirel made from stabilized wood. The scale is chromatic with holes for all 10 fingers. 8 holes on the front side and 2 holes on the back. With that you get all 12 semitones and you can play any music in any key (not all are comfortable, though) within two octaves. The fingering is common with that of the ukrainian sopilka but the fipple design is different. Medium backpressure, good response. Nice round woodsy tone. Medium volume. Good for quiet session or jam. Best for solo playing and playing in duos or trios. Wooden tuning slide with buffer plastic ring. Very lightweight. Materials: stabilized wood Finish: tung oil (inside and outside) Key: C, tuneable Range: two octaves Scale: chromatic Length: 340 mm Color and texture of wood on picture may differ slightly from actual item
