Children Of The Forgotten: A Christian Dystopian Novel of Faith and Survival (The Anistemi Book 1) Kindle Edition

The Great War didn’t destroy the world. It stripped it bare.A century later, technology is a memory. Guns are relics that no longer fire. Power grids are silent. Nations are gone. What remains is a single walled city clinging to survival through iron law and sharpened steel.Society has rebuilt itself the only way it knows how—like something out of an older age. Knights enforce order with swords instead of rifles. Messages travel by horse. Rank determines worth. Beyond the gates lie fractured tribes and a wilderness where mercy is weakness and survival is earned daily.Collin Mann has grown up in the shadow of death, digging graves for victims of the relentless Sickness that haunts the city. He’s learned to keep his head down and his heart guarded. But when violence erupts near the river and tensions rise toward open conflict, Collin is forced to decide whether courage is something you’re born with—or something forged in fire.Felicia understands the cost of compassion in a hardened world. Strength keeps you alive. Trust gets you killed. Yet when loyalties begin to fracture and leadership falters, she must choose where she stands—and what protecting others is truly worth. And then there is Bliss. Not innocent.
