Brunnera macrophylla ‘Emerald Mist’
‘Emerald Mist’ adds soft color and texture to the shade garden with heart-shaped green leaves edged in silver. The silver markings connect around the leaf margins, creating a misty collar effect that brightens shady spots all season.
In spring, tiny baby-blue flowers rise above the foliage, resembling forget-me-nots and adding a delicate early-season display. Its neat, mounding habit makes it a lovely choice for woodland gardens, shaded borders, and pairing with hostas, ferns, and hellebores.
Brunnera is valued for its attractive foliage, easy care, and ability to bring long-lasting interest to part shade and shade gardens.
