As beautiful as it is functional, the Alessi cocktail shaker is endorsed by the A.I.B.E.S. (Italian Association of Barmen and Supporters). The 18/10 stainless-steel tool has a fine satin finish and includes three parts: a cap, strainer, and body. The same model is also available in a beautiful mirror-polished finish. Designed by Luigi Massoni and Carlo Mazzeri in 1957, this shaker has proven it stands the test of time. The 8-1/2-ounce shaker measures 3 inches in diameter and 6-3/4 inches high. It's also available in a larger, 17-ounce size, also in satin or mirror-polish. The shaker is safe to clean in the dishwasher and makes a great housewarming gift.
