The 3M PSA Cloth Disc 348D is a robust sanding disc, equipped with a high-strength, pressure-sensitive adhesive backing that securely adheres to backup pads or steel platens, ensuring easy application and clean removal. This disc's heat-resistant resin bond and durable cloth backing make it ideal for high-heat and heavy-duty sanding applications. Aluminum oxide particles in a closed coat provide swift grinding and dual-action sanding on metal. This versatile disc offers a quick and efficient method for deburring, blending, cleaning up, and finishing metal parts and surfaces of various sizes and shapes. Aluminum oxide, a popular choice among professionals for its fast cut-rate and longevity, is a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges during use. It's suitable for a wide range of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys. The heat-resistant resin binding agent maintains the bond's stability even under high heat or pressure.
