3M Electrically Conductive Adhesive Transfer Tape 9703 is a 2 mil thick electrical specialty tape. Filaments within the construction of this tape allow for electrical conductivity through the thickness "z-axis" but insulates electricity along the plane. This product is specifically designed to electrically connect and mechanically bond flex circuits with other flex circuits, printed circuit boards (PCB), or LCD screens. This product achieves excellent adhesion to copper, gold, FR-4 Epoxy, polyimide, polyester, aluminum, stainless steel, and smooth gasket material.
- Anisotropic (z-axis) electrical conductivity
- Electrically connects and mechanically bonds medium pitch flex circuits with other flex circuits, pcb or lcd screens
- Adheres to EMI/RFI substrates: aluminum, stainless steel and smooth gasket material
- Low contact resistance for excellent EMI performance
- Commonly used for flex circuit splicing, keyboard manufaturing and LCD assembly
